Cut kielbasa into desired pieces and fry in a skilled or pot that can later be covered on high heat in oil for about 6 minutes or until desired brown.
Take the kielbasa out and adding the butter in the same oil cook the onion on medium heat for 6 minutes or until the onion become translucent.
Add shredded carrots and cook for another 6 minutes.
Add sauerkraut, kielbasa to the onion and carrot mixture, mix well if needed add some water cover and let it cook (simmer) on medium-low heat for 35 minutes.
Add sour cream (and a little water if needed) stir well and let it simmer for another 15 minutes.
