Ingredients
Sour Cream
- 1 qt heavy cream
- 2-3 tbs buttermilk
Butter
- Sourcream
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
To Make Sour Cream
- Combine the heavy cream and the buttermilk.
- Let it sit at room temperature for 48 hours.
To Make Butter
- Whisk/beat the sour cream in a KitchenAid mixer (or similar) for 20-25 minutes.
- Separate the butter from the buttermilk while try to squeeze out of butter.as much of the buttermilk as you can.
- Add the salt to taste. (Optional but helps the shelf-life).
