Homemade Mayonnaise

Every one loves mayonnaise. This simple recipe will allow you to make home made mayonnaise using the whole egg instead just of yolks.

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh egg
  • 1 cup of oil we love canola the best
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dry ground mustard seeds

Instructions

To make this recipe you will need a mason canning jar and a blender.

  • Crack the egg into the jar, add oil, lemon juice (or vinegar), salt, dried ground mustard seeds.
  • Blend on high speed (if your blender has two speeds) for about one or two minutes.
  • Enjoy!
