European style butter is made from sour cream. To make your own

Sour Cream
- 1 qt heavy cream
- 2-3 tbs buttermilk
To Make Butter
Whisk/beat the sour cream in a KitchenAid mixer (or similar) for 20-25 minutes.
Separate the butter from the buttermilk while try to squeeze out of butter.as much of the buttermilk as you can.
Add the salt to taste. (Optional but helps the shelf-life).
